Hi, my name's Randy and I'm a CALoholic. I've been shirtin' up for 15 years, so I guess you could say I'm hooked. I remember my first score, a thin green, short sleeve shirt with a vintage tag embroidered "Mr. California". Unique buttons attached to each sleeve and an intricate embroidered crest on the chest pocket fueled my intrigue. It fit like it was custom tailored for me, infusing it's retroessence into my being. I had to find more, alot more. And so began my addiction. I've devoted 15 years, tirelessly searching every thrift shop, estate sale, garage sale and swap meet in the southern California region. I have an impressive collection, representing most of what the company had to offer over the years. I have also researched the Mr. California line and will present this in future posts. This blog is part of my therapy, sort of an online support group, to help me understand everything about Mr. California shirts and perhaps connect with other enthusiasts.
